And now some Ghostbusters: The Video Game memories

Ghostbusters: The Video Game Remastered is almost here, and we’ve got special video that asks fans what they liked best about the original release.

Who you gonna call?

Though anyone who hasn’t played it might doubt it, Ghostbusters: The Video Game is possibly one of the best licensed games of all time. With great graphics and sound, solid gameplay, and incredibly attention to detail, this 2009 release is a modern classic.

Yeah, yeah, I know Bill Murray kind of phoned in his voice work, but no one else did. And not only does this game present a true sequel to the original films, but it’s also the last time that Harold Ramis played Egon. Since he’s now passed that’ll never happen again.

With all of that, you might imagine that hardcore fans have some great memories of it. And yes, you’d be right.

Manhattan is overrun once more by ghosts, demons and other paranormal creatures unleashed by a mysterious force, and only the Ghostbusters can drive this evil back to whatever dimension it crawled from. Hunt and trap a variety of new and infamous ghouls and phantasms — all remastered in HD resolution — with cool gadgets and weapons, thrilling boss fights, and destructible environments.
