Apex Legends Pathfinder Edition makes Pathfinder a retro action hero

Apex Legends Pathfinder Edition makes Pathfinder a retro action hero

Respawn Entertainment’s free-to-play battle royale Apex Legends occasionally releases a paid version of the game. Each of these versions serves as an ode to one of the game’s Legends and comes with a hoard of cosmetic goodies. The latest one is available now, and it’s packed with retro cosmetics for everyone’s favorite smiling robot. You can pick up the Apex Legends Pathfinder Edition for PC for just $19.99.

The whole edition is a throwback to classic action movies of the 80s and 90s. The legendary Full Metal Robot skin for Pathfinder makes him look a lot like Sylvester Stallone’s Rambo. Even the image on his chest has a Rambo-esque red bandana. Add to that the crossbow-like First Blood Havoc skin and the Molotov Cocktail Fun charm, and you’ve got everything you need to be an action hero.

Along with all the above-mentioned cosmetics, you’ll also get an exclusive Lone Bot badge and 1,000 Apex Coins. You can check out Pathfinder showing off all his retro skins in the Apex Legends Pathfinder Edition trailer below. Even the trailer has that old-school action movie style.

A style of their own

The main attraction of these paid versions of Apex Legends is the unique legendary skin you get for the featured Legend. Lifeline and Bloodhound have both received their own editions. Lifeline took on the look of an angelic warrior, while Bloodhound put on the mask of a devil. The previous recipient of his own edition was Octane, who was given a futuristic-looking, arachnid-inspired speed suit. All of these unique editions are still available through Origin for PC.
