When it comes to the Resident Evil franchise, the single-player offerings are obviously the big draws. Confined spaces, terrifying monsters, and the idea of facing them alone have captivated players for decades. However, Capcom has certainly tried its hands at creating more multiplayer-centric experiences as well. The latest would be Resident Evil Re:Verse, a battle for survival coming free with Resident Evil Village. If you want to see what it is all about, a Resident Evil Re:Verse open beta will be happening tomorrow, and it is available to all.
Starting at 2 AM ET and running until the same time on April 22, you can jump into matches of between four to six players and try to survive five minutes of madness. If you are great at eliminating other players, that is good. However, should you perish, it will not simply mark your demise.
Players who die will return as bioweapons, ready to unleash hell on their killers. Ultimately, it is about who has the most points at the end of the day, so you can win even if you are a member of the undead horrors from Umbrella Corporation.
Players who have taken part previously in other tests for Resident Evil Re:Verse are already set. Otherwise, you will need to install the client when it is available on Steam.
