GTA: Vice City mysteriously vanishes from the Steam store…

But why you ask?

Sony Music Entertainment apparently has a licensing issue with one of the songs played on the in-game radio station, Fever 105.  Namely, the track from the King of Pop “Wanna be Startin’ Something”. Supposedly, there is some discrepancy in the music license for that game.

This comes on the heels of GTA: Vice City’s 10 year anniversary where Rockstar announced they would be releasing the game on iOS and Android devices.

Rockstar states they are working on this issue, but no specific time frame has been set for when players will be able to purchase this game via Steam again.
