Haven’t played one of the best fighting games in years? If not, NetherRealm and Warner Bros has you covered with the Injustice 2 – Legendary Edition. That’s because the new version of the game will include everything already out there and more.
It’s pretty easy to say that Injustice 2 is a terrific fighting game. From the creators of Mortal Kombat, the fighter improved on the original Injustice is almost every way. It was also one of our favorite games of 2017.
So what made it so great? Pretty much everything. The story might not have been as great as the original’s, but the graphics, gameplay, and roster sure did. Oh, and that includes the downloadable content by the way, which was absolutely inspired.
Not only did IJ2’s DLC content include DC Comics and Mortal Kombat characters, it also delved into other comic book universes. Much in the same way that MKX’ DLC starred horror movie characters, IJ2’s starred the likes of Hellboy and the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. Not only were these added heroes cool to see, but they were actually some of the most fun to play too.
But this new Legendary Edition won’t just tout what’s already out there. There’s a little more to be had in the package. Not to worry though, if you don’t want to buy the game again. According to NetherRealm, the fresh content will indeed be made available to all Injustice 2 owners.
Here’s what you’ll find:
All downloadable playable characters: Darkseid, Red Hood, Starfire, Sub-Zero, Black Manta, Raiden, Hellboy, Atom, Enchantress and The Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles.
