Konami slashes price tag for Metal Gear Solid: Ground Zeroes

If you’ve held off on diving into Big Boss’ pre-The Phantom Pain adventure, maybe this will change your mind.

Konami has officially announced that all retail boxed editions (not the digital download versions) of Metal Gear Solid: Ground Zeroes will now carry a price tag of $19.99 USD. You’ll get a feel for what Konami and developer Kojima Productions is doing here and get to see the FOX Engine in action, which is a nicely in and of itself (it’s really pretty you see). And though there aren’t a ton of things to do in the game, you do have complete freedom to act as you see fit, engage enemy soldiers how you like, and generally complete the mission (there’s only one really included in the game) by any means necessary.
