Holly Jolly Pyromaniac sees some of the elves revolting against Santa. How else can he stem the riot, but by hopping in his sleigh and bombing their homes?
From the lovely folks at Underground Pixel (those fine people who brought us Pastry Panic and last year’s Holiday Havoc), comes another holiday entry in the form of Holly Jolly Pyromaniac. Some of Santa’s elves are planning to revolt… and rather than have a calm and rational conversation with them about it, he’d rather just blow their houses up with explosives. Traitorous elves live in green houses, and loyal elves live in purple ones. Players take control of the hellbent Santa on his bombing run, using precise timing and twitch reflexes to get the presents (or teddy bears, or bombs) to their destination. The most important thing to note is that it’s a lot of fun, and it’s quality that we’ve come to expect from Underground Pixel. I can’t wait to see what they put out next!
From the press release:
“This game boasts retro pixel art by the incredibly talented Johan Vinet, chiptune tracks by composer extraordinaire Harrison Kalman, and is available for free on Newgrounds as a holiday treat for players of all ages. It’s also available as a free download on our website if you want a copy of your very own. The leaderboards are synced so you can compete against your friends from either client.”
