Vanguard beta coming to PC in mid-September

Call of Duty leak shows free rewards available in Vanguard reveal event

If you’re itching to check out Call of Duty: Vanguard, then you’re in luck, as it’s getting a beta in September. Unfortunately, PC players are going to have to wait a little bit longer, as the first weekend is open exclusively to PlayStation players. That’s right. Starting on September 10 and lasting until September 13, Sony users, and only Sony users, will get to check the game out. That’ll show all of us non-Sony people the true meaning of Christmas. It’s all kind of silly, really.

As for PC players, anyone who preorders the game on non-Sony platforms will be able to jump into the beta on September 16 through 17. Finally, on September 18, the beta will open beta for everyone who wants to die repeatedly to more skilled players that can pull off ridiculous headshots from across maps that they’ve never seen before. Don’t ask me how, they’re just that prescient. The open beta period will last until September 20. Although I’m sure many will be disappointed to be missing the entire first weekend so people who play FPS games with a controller can auto-aim their way to victory, we’re just going to have to deal with it.

Call of Duty: Vanguard beta coming in mid-September, for some

Call of Duty: Vanguard is, obviously, the latest in the annual series of military shooters that Activision shamelessly pumps out year after year. Unlike last year’s offering, this one isn’t a sequel. It’ll feature new characters as they try to stop a bomb or something from blowing up half of something else. I’m pretty sure that’s the plot of every other game in the series, but please don’t correct me. The game is set to release on November 5. I’m sure the ten next games will also be out in early November for the next decade.
