Warhammer 40k: Carnage smashes into iOS platforms today

Roadhouse Interactive’s side-scrolling take on Games Workshop’s classic Warhammer 40k tabletop game has arrived to smash Orks into little, tiny pieces on iOS.

Carnage allows for play as either a member of the Blood Angels or the Ultramarines, both classic Warhammer 40k factions of Space Marine. As to which of the many races in Games Workshop’s dark sci-fi universe you’ll be facing off against, it’ll be the marines favorite targets, the Orks.

Written by author Graham McNeill and featuring solo and co-op play, Warhammer 40k: Carnage features fast, action-based gameplay designed to keep you running and gunning. And you’ll be doing plenty of gunfighting (and chain-swording) with the title’s armory which includes “Boltguns, Chainswords, Grenades, Thunder Hammers, and more”. And that’s not to mention the 500 pieces of equipment that you can outfit your marine with as you battle to take back the planet of Mithra from the greenskin menace.

“When players pick up and play Warhammer 40,000: Carnage, they won’t know what hit them – but they’ll love it,” said Tarrnie Williams, President at Roadhouse Interactive.

“We’re delivering a game built for the Warhammer 40k core fan, who craves some fast-paced action that’s built on the existing lore of the Warhammer 40,000 universe. We also expect newcomers will find it accessible, engaging and impossible to put down.”

Warhammer 40k: Carnage is available right now on the App Store and will cost you $6.99 USD.
